I’m Rachel currently a stay at home mom with a background in mental health and social work. A wife to an amazing husband and mom to a spunky and loving 2 year old boy. We are an American expat family currently enjoying the life down under in Australia. I love coffee, elephants, vintage housewares, and Jane Austen novels. If I’m not taking my son all over the great city that is Melbourne, Australia or writing on this blog while drinking coffee you’ll find me reading, bushwalking or hiking, or connecting with friends.
I believe that motherhood is hard….really hard. As a therapist I thought I knew all I needed to know about handling my emotions but then I became a mom. My own personal struggles with anxiety led me to want to inspire other moms to improve their emotional health while using the concepts from my own professional background. Motherhood is diverse experience of joy, fear, hope, frustration, and love. I hope you find my blog a helpful resource in enjoying the full experience of motherhood.
